Twisted Magic reunites several of cast from Twisted Dreams in a new supernatural adventure. While each book is a separate story, it continues the saga of Elizabeth’s new life away from home. You should read Twisted Dreams before this novel.
Being a fan of the Serenity series, I leapt at the opportunity to read the Dhampyre Chronicles. I must confess that I have not been disappointed. Something that escaped in the previous book is out to exact revenge. It did have me on the edge of my seat in parts.
I found myself reading far too late into the night. It is a difficult series to put down. The ending was rather unexpected and shocking, but with a gritty sense of realism.
Add this series to your reading list because you won’t regret. I’m off to go nag Marissa Farrar to write the third book in the series.
