Six For Seven
The front cover for my first work of fiction is ready! Normally I just get a finished idea in my head and the inspiration follows. For the first time, I finished writing the book before the cover artwork was finished! The full covers will be available shortly once I have calculated the thickness of the spine and so forth.
‘Six For Seven’, or just ‘647’ for short, was written in 25 days! I had seen the 30 day challenge before and I decided to do a little proof of it for myself. It took around 25 days to research, write, and do a final read through to complete it. So if you sit down to write 2000-3000 words per day, which is not totally crazy, it can be done.
The book is about South Africans. It takes place over dinner and this book sets about introducing some of the characters that will go on to have their own series. At this time, I won’t tell you which ones, of course! One must never ruin the suspense!
Just bear in mind that what you read in this book, sets the stage for what is to come. In fact, when you read the titles of the books to come, you will recognise them by name as mentioned … somewhere … in Six For Seven!
