G, Qs, & Zs (or just Rodrigues)

Me with a G and an S, sometimes a Jo!
Being of Latin descent often means that you spend a lot of your time s-p-e-l-l-i-n-g out your name. Honestly, it doesn’t bother me what people call me as long as they call me. Call me on 0800-for-a-date!

All right so jokes aside, I get called Joe, Joseph, Joey, hey you irritating person, and other such names. Mostly I really don’t take offence. Not being stuck up, and being stuck with my own name, it really is not an issue.

Now! The challenge rears its ugly rear when people are searching for scandal … erm … information on me and my books. You may have read one or two. Please do! It would make me happy and I’d write more prolifically!

When looking for sordid, dirty, trashy, scandalous information, please spell my name with a “z”. My good twin however, is spelt with an “s”. Ok, I’ll try to be serious. No promises other than I’ll try! You cannot expect anything more from a man.

There are several ways to spell both my first and last name. Most importantly is my surname. Since Google will index this article, you may find it and thus, find me — or my naughty self. It depends on who takes charge on the day!

So the correct spelling as per my dot.com is “Jo Rodrigues”. There are other Spanish variations plus some incorrect spellings that have since become a norm. So Rodrigues may be spelt with either a G or a Q and the end can be either an S or a Z. Find me with both a G and an S!

Google also prefers my naughty self and will always try to auto correct what you type and actually change my S to a Z. Say NO! You must learn to say No to a Z and YES to an S!

So send me a message … I promise not to byte — too hard! A nibble perhaps?
