The Layman’s Economics
Perhaps I am too much of a layman but I just don’t understand economics. To me things are really quite simple. A few people have sold nothing for something and now it is payback. So is it not a simple case of theft? Are our “modern” ways of society failing us? Have sophisticated ways of committing fraud and theft become honourable?
Why are the very people who stand accused of bringing down the economy – that belongs to the masses – being bailed out and given rewards for their greed? Huge corporations are paying themselves bonuses for LACK of performance and then turning to the tax payer to give them even more in the name of doing the “right” thing! I’ll decide what is right for me thanks!
If a business or organisation cannot succeed on its own then let it fail! This is what happens to small businesses and we deem it to be fair. We keep pumping money into failing prospects in the name of the masses instead of letting the compost of failure give birth to a new way of life and new business.
Anything that runs at a loss is an endless pit which absorbs all that is placed in it, reaping no benefit. Allow it to fade and the new will replace it.
The challenge is to not surrender to the fear of the unknown. A lot of people do not let go of their comfort zones even though those very comfort zones may not be comfortable at all. It is simply familiar…
I believe we need to stop worshiping the empire and start supporting the human race!

How did you know about my Oprah moment? 😀
I have vissions of you on a soap box in a pastors outfit , a whole bevy of Choir Girls behind you that look like Oprah going " You tell em brother… Armen"… and I feel strangely turned on , like when you wear a g string backwards…
