I wrote this many years ago and I think it still provides great insight into finding new beginnings and taking what you have and to work with it. Life isn’t always what you want but it is always what you need to grow at the time.
Growth is the only way forward, onwards to greater situations, people, and joy for life.

Take a look into my centre.
You may not find it pretty.
It will all be of myself.
Honesty in all its truth.
What you seek may not be what you find.
It may not be what you want,
but it might be what you need.
That is all I can extend.
Perfection is finding a tender moment.
The warm glow fills all the corners.
Darkness is lit and it retreats.
Let my ray of light shine through.
